Learning for Life: Planning your tree planting

As winter recedes into spring it is a great time to look at our yards and plan for the future. The badly damaged trees that need to be replaced, the pruning that needs to be done, the perfect spot for the new shrubs, can all be planned for now.

The Cooperative Extension Service has free publications available on “Tree and Shrub Varieties, Tree Planting, Pruning, Mulching” and much more. Plant for the future, plan for it now.
