Slimy slugs, your plant eaters
It’s summer and your garden is looking great, except what is eating holes in the leaves of flowers and vegetables alike? Those slime trails will lead to the answer, ugh, slugs. It is the season to start looking for and removing these hungry molluscs from your garden before they lay eggs for next year’s crop. You can learn more about slugs in the free publication from your local Cooperative Extension Service.
Your local Cooperative Extension Service is your year round resource for a variety of topics, visit us today at: http://www.uaf.edu/ces/districts/kenai/ to find this publication and more or stop by and see us on Kalifornsky Beach Road between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. We are “Learning for Life.”
