The free group meets monthly at the Kenai Community Library to craft doll accessories and play. On Saturday they sowed quilts and made lunchboxes from Altoid tins; in March they will sow scarves.

The group has rallied yearly since 1988 to draw attention to those waiting for state waivers that would give them Medicaid-funded care outside of an institution, allowing the severely disabled to remain in their homes and communities.
