With every sponsorship dollar received, SPITwSPOTS matches contributions dollar for dollar, further empowering local families and communities to stay online and thrive.
In addition to this impactful program, SPITwSPOTS has secured funding to upgrade its infrastructure, paving the way for faster speeds and greater reliability.
Once complete, these upgrades will deliver broadband speeds of up to 1 Gbps in select areas, with standard speeds of 300 Mbps download and 100 Mbps upload available to many customers across the peninsula. These advancements will significantly improve access for Alaskans, ensuring robust connectivity even in the most remote locations.
