One person was hurt in the three-vehicle car accident on the Sterling Highway on Friday.
First responders from Central Emergency Services and the Soldotna Police Department were called to the scene of the crash near the Birch Ridge Golf Course just after 1 p.m. Friday. CES took one man to Central Peninsula Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, said CES Captain Josh Thompson. The man had to be extricated from his Ford pickup, Thompson said.
Officers were on scene directing traffic and the road was open shortly after 1 p.m., according to a police dispatcher.
