Two Kenai residents and one Florida visitor died in the wreck.

Two Kenai residents and one Florida visitor were identified by the state medical examiner’s office as the individuals who died in a fatal car wreck last month, according to a press release from the Kenai Police Department.

Antonio De La Cruz and Terry Reed, both 24-year olds from Kenai, and Anthony Martin, 32, of West Palm Beach, Florida, were all killed in a two-vehicle collision on July 17 near Milepost 15 of the Kenai Spur Highway.

According to the original accident report, the three individuals were in a small passenger car driving southbound at a high rate of speed and passed a vehicle on the right side of the road, before losing control and veering into oncoming traffic. They collided with a northbound pickup and both vehicles caught on fire.
