ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — Anchorage police are looking for a 38-year-old construction crew member who has gone missing.
Vasily Basargin has been missing since Saturday morning. He was working on a house in Eagle River that police say was in a quiet, heavily wooded area.
Police say Basargin told a coworker at 10:15 a.m. that he was going to get a drink and use the restroom but did not return.
A press release from the Anchorage Police Department says the coworker started looking for Basargin after about 20 minutes but could not find him.
Other crew members told police they didn’t see or hear anything unusual.
