The following judgments were recently handed down in Kenai District Court:

Robert Charles Dedrick, Jr., 33, of Kenai, pleaded guilty to one count of violating condition of release and one count of fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, committed June 15, 2018. On count one, he was sentenced to five days in jail and fined a $50 court surcharge and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, On count two, he was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 30 days suspended, ordered to complete a substance/alcohol abuse assessment and follow all recommendations, forfeited all items seized, and was placed on probation for one year.

Robert Charles Dedrick, 33, of Kenai, pleaded guilty to violating condition of release, committed Nov. 19, 2018. He was sentenced to one day in jail and fined a $100 court surcharge and a $50 jail surcharge.

Robert Charles Dedrick, 33, of Kenai, pleaded guilty to one count of fourth-degree assault (recklessly injure), a domestic violence offense, and one count of violating condition of release, committed Dec. 8, 2018. On count one, he was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 80 days suspended, fined a $50 court surcharge and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, ordered to have no contact with six specifically named people without permission from the probation officer and recommendation from the treatment provider, ordered to complete a substance/alcohol abuse assessment and follow all recommendations, forfeited all items seized, and placed on probation for three years. On count two, he was sentenced to five days in jail.

Roy James Tikka, 35, of Soldotna, pleaded guilty to second-degree harassment, committed Mar. 1. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with all but time served suspended, fined a $100 court surcharge and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, ordered to have no contact with Alaska State Troopers Dispatch except for emergency purposes., ordered to complete a substance/alcohol abuse assessment and follow all recommendations, ordered not to possess or consume alcohol during probationary period, and was placed on probation for 24 months.

Elizabeth Gail Miller, 27, of Kenai, pleaded guilty to one count of theft with three plus prior convictions within five years of less than $250, and one count of an amended charge of violating condition of release for a felony, committed Sept. 10. On count one, she was sentenced to 60 days in jail with 50 days suspended, fined a $100 court surcharge and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, ordered to have no contact with Safeway or a specifically named person, ordered to pay restitution, forfeited all items seized, and placed on probation for 24 months. On count two, she forfeited items seized, and placed on probation for 24 months. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

Dawnielle K. Seierup, 28, of Kenai, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree theft, committed Jan. 15. She was fined $500 with $250 suspended, a $100 court surcharge and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, ordered to have no contact with Kenai Walmart or Kenai Save-U-More, ordered to pay restitution, forfeited all items seized, and was placed on probation for 12 months.

Dawnielle K. Seierup, 28, of Kenai, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree theft, committed Mar 23. She was fined $500 with $250 suspended, a $100 court surcharge and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, ordered to have no contact with Kenai Walmart or Kenai Save-U-More, ordered to pay restitution, forfeited all items seized, and placed on probation for 12 months. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

Elizabeth Gail Miller, 27, of Kenai, pleaded guilty to one count of an amended charge of third-degree theft and one count of violating condition of release for a felony, committed Sept. 11. On count one, she was sentenced to 360 days in jail with 300 days suspended, ordered to have no contact with Safeway or a specifically named person, ordered to pay restitution, forfeited items seized, and placed on probation for three years. On count two, she was fined a $100 court surcharge and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and placed on probation for three years.

Darris Cress, 47, of Sterling, pleaded guilty to one count of driving while license canceled, revoked or suspended and one count of an amended charge of fifth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, committed Oct. 27. On count one, Cress was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 20 days suspended, ordered not to possess controlled substances without a valid prescription, maintained in original containers and taken as prescribed, and was placed on probation for 12 months. On the count of fifth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, Cress was fined a $100 court surcharge and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, ordered not to possess controlled substances without a valid prescription, maintained in original containers and taken as prescribed, forfeited any items seized, and was placed on probation for 12 months. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

George Ivan Hoelscher II, 28, of Sterling, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, committed Apr. 10. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 days suspended, fined $2,000 with $500 suspended, a $150 court surcharge, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and $330 cost of imprisonment, ordered to complete Alcohol Safety Action Program treatment, had his license revoked for 90 days, ordered ignition interlock for six months, and placed on probation for 12 months.

George Ivan Hoelscher II, 28, of Sterling, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault (causing fear of injury), a domestic violence offense committed Apr. 18. He was sentenced to 120 days in jail with 60 days suspended, fined a $100 court surcharge and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, and placed on probation for 12 months. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

Devin Antwon Mathews, 31, of Anchorage, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of driving while license canceled, revoked or suspended, an infraction/violation committed Apr. 7. He was fined $300 and a $20 court surcharge.

Joseph Israel Vanhout, 19, of Sterling, pleaded guilty to contributing to the delinquency of a minor, committed Apr. 20. He was fined a $100 court surcharge and placed on probation for 12 months.

Dylan Alan Leroy Zoske, 28, of Soldotna, pleaded guilty to violating a domestic violence protective order, committed Apr. 30. He was sentenced to five days in jail and fined a $100 court surcharge and a $50 jail surcharge and may have contact with victim only at victim’s request.

Andy Campos, 58, of Kenai, pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree theft, committed Sept. 1, 2018. He was sentenced to 360 days in jail with 300 days suspended, fined $500 and a $50 court surcharge and placed on probation for one year. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

Andy Campos, 58, of Kenai, pleaded guilty to violating condition of release, committed May 1, 2019. He was sentenced to five days in jail and fined a $100 court surcharge and a $50 jail surcharge.

Andy Campos, 58, of Kenai, pleaded guilty to one count of fifth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance and one count of violating condition of release for a felony, committed Mar. 12. He was fined a $100 court surcharge, ordered to complete Alcohol Safety Action Program treatment, forfeited all items seized, and placed on probation for one year.

Cristino G. Campos, 47, of Kenai, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, committed Oct. 14. He was fined a $100 court surcharge and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and placed on probation for one year. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

The following judgments were recently handed down in Kenai Superior Court:

Robert Charles Dedrick, 33, of Kenai, pleaded guilty to one consolidated count of third-degree assault (causing fear of injury, committed Jan. 30, 2018. He was sentenced to four years in prison with three years suspended, fined a $100 court surcharge and a $200 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, ordered to pay $500 cost of appointed counsel, ordered to pay restitution, ordered to have no contact six specifically named people without permission from the probation officer and recommendation from the treatment provider, forfeited all items seized, ordered, among other conditions of probation, not to use, possess, consume or ingest any alcohol or any illegal controlled substances, including marijuana and synthetic drugs, ordered to complete a substance abuse evaluation and comply with treatment recommendations, ordered to successfully complete a batterer’s intervention program, violence rehabilitation program, ordered to submit to search directed by a probation officer, with or without probable cause, for the presence of alcohol, controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, evidence of controlled substance transactions and weapons, and was placed on probation for five years after serving any term of incarceration imposed. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

Elizabeth Gail Miller, 27, of Kenai, pleaded guilty to attempted first-degree burglary (in a dwelling), committed Apr. 29, 2019. She was sentenced to three years in prison with two years suspended, fined a $200 court surcharge and a $200 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, ordered to pay $300 cost of appointed counsel, ordered to pay restitution, ordered to have no contact with victims or co-defendants in this case or a specifically noted address, forfeited all items seized, ordered, among other conditions of probation, not to consume alcohol to excess, ordered to submit to search directed by a probation officer, with or without probable cause, for the presence of controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, evidence of controlled substance transactions and stolen property, ordered not to use or possess any illegal controlled substances, including synthetic drugs and marijuana, ordered to complete a substance abuse evaluation and comply with treatment recommendations, ordered not to associate with individuals who use or sell illegal controlled substances nor enter or remain in places where illegal controlled substances are used, manufactured, grown or sold, and was placed on probation for three years after serving any term of incarceration imposed. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

Jeremy T. Anderson, 42, address unknown, pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor, committed Dec. 1, 2013. He was sentenced to 30 years in prison with 10 years suspended, received credit for time spent on electronic monitoring, equaling 365 days, was fined a $100 court surcharge and a $200 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, ordered to pay $1,000 cost of appointed counsel, ordered to have no contact with victim or victim’s family, forfeited all items seized, ordered, among other conditions of probation, to register as a sex offender, to obtain a sex offender evaluation/risk assessment and follow all recommendations, to not at any time possess any sexually explicit material, to not knowingly have any contact with a person under 18 years of age unless in the immediate presence of another adult who knows the circumstances of his crime, who is approved in writing by a probation officer, ordered to complete a mental health assessment and comply with treatment recommendations, ordered not to open or maintain an account with any internet provider, nor participate in any social media accounts or access the internet from anyone else’s account without prior written permission of the probation officer, and was placed on probation for 15 years after serving any term of incarceration imposed. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

Grant Joel Joseph Bear, 30, address unknown, pleaded guilty to first-degree promoting contraband, committed Apr. 13, 2019. He was fined a $100 court surcharge and a $200 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, ordered to pay $250 cost of appointed counsel, ordered to have no contact with two specifically named people, ordered, among other conditions of probation, not to consume alcohol to excess, not to use or possess any illegal controlled substances, including synthetic drugs and marijuana, not to enter any business establishment whose primary business is the sale of alcohol, ordered to complete a substance abuse evaluation and comply with treatment recommendations, and was placed on probation for three years. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

A jury found Hans Christopher Brinkerhoff, 35, address unknown, not guilty of one count of first-degree misconduct involving weapons (from a vehicle), two counts of third-degree assault (causing fear of injury with a weapon), and one count of third-degree misconduct involving weapons (firing from a vehicle). Date of the charges was Sept. 4, 2018.

Andy Campos, 58, of Kenai, pleaded guilty to attempted first-degree forgery (government instruments), committed Dec. 1, 2018. He was sentenced to two years in prison, fined $500, a $100 court surcharge and a $100 jail surcharge, ordered to pay $500 cost of appointed counsel, ordered to pay restitution, and ordered to have no contact with Kenai McDonald’s or a specifically named person or a specifically noted Nikiski address.

Evan Ryan Mullen, 32, address unknown, pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree misconduct involving weapons, committed May 24, 2019. He was sentenced to 729 days in prison, credited for time already served, fined a $200 court surcharge and a $100 jail surcharge, and ordered to pay $300 cost of appointed counsel. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

Breanna Marie Wright, 30, address unknown, pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, committed Nov. 27, 2017. She was fined a $100 court surcharge and a $200 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, ordered to pay $500 cost of appointed counsel, ordered, among other conditions of probation, not to use, possess, handle, purchase, give or administer any controlled substance, including marijuana, without a valid prescription (a medical marijuana card does not constitute a valid prescription), not to possess any drugs or drug paraphernalia normally associated with the illicit use of drugs, ordered not to associate with any who use or sell illegal controlled substances nor enter or remain in places where illegal controlled substances are used, manufactured, grown or sold, ordered to undergo a drug/alcohol assessment and comply with treatment recommendations, and was placed on probation for three years. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

The following dismissals were recently handed down in Kenai District Court:

A charge of fifth-degree criminal mischief (damage under $250) against Harry Miles Bessey, Jr., 48, of Kasilof, was dismissed. Date of the charge was Apr. 26.

A charge of violating condition of release for a felony against Jaclyn Nicole Dale, 32, of Fairbanks, was dismissed. Date of the charge was Dec. 10.
