Eligible Alaskans can expect an Alaska Permanent Fund dividend payment of $3,284 come Sept. 20, Gov. Mike Dunleavy announced during a Thursday press conference held at a Three Bears store in Palmer. The amount includes a one-time energy payment of $650, which Alaska lawmakers approved during the legislative session earlier this year.
Dunleavy announced in July that 2022 PFD payments would be coming earlier than usual, and that the amount was expected to be around $3,200. This year’s planned distribution date — Sept. 20 — is about one month earlier than when payments are typically distributed.
