A young hiker was rescued on Easter Sunday after falling into a crevasse on Portage Glacier.
The teenager was hiking with family when he fell and became wedged in the cavity, according to an online Alaska State Trooper dispatch. Two troopers, the U.S. Forest Service, Girdwood Fire Department and Alaska Mountain Rescue Group responded to the emergency call.
