Lenora A. Meehan, 53, of Kenai, was found unconscious on the floor of Vaughn’s Mini Mart on Kalifornsky Beach Road by Soldotna Alaska State Troopers on Tuesday morning.
At approximately 6:33 a.m., Alaska State Troopers found the doors to the mini mart locked, according to a Department of Public Safety trooper dispatch. After breaking the glass of the front door and proceeding inside, troopers found Meehan had been in the process of opening the mini mart.
She was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 6:46 a.m.
According to the dispatch, Meehan died of natural causes, and her next of kin has been notified.
