JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) — U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski has reported raising about $690,000 toward her re-election during the first quarter of this year.
The Republican, who faces re-election next year, ended the period with about $1.5 million available, according to a summary of the report filed with the Federal Election Commission and provided by her campaign coordinator.
In 2010, Murkowski lost her Republican primary to tea party favorite Joe Miller but mounted a write-in campaign for the general election to keep her job.
