Alaska State Troopers arrested a Nikiski woman on Monday after getting a report that she had shot at a moving car near Island Lake Road.
Just before 8 p.m. troopers were called to the area and found Alice Gray, of Nikiski, according to the trooper dispatch. She admitted to firing multiple rounds at the vehicle as it passed her on the road, because she thought the victim had been driving the car recklessly, according to the dispatch.
The driver, who was the only one in the vehicle, was not injured and 31-year-old Gray was arrested on an attempted murder charge, according to the dispatch. The gun was recovered at the scene.
There are no second degree attempted murder sentencing and fine guidelines listed in Alaska Statute.
