A federal worker got dragged into a one-sided snowball fight near Seward on Black Friday, resulting in damage to his truck.
At approximately 11:15 p.m. on Nov. 25, a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration worker was driving north along the Seward Highway around mile 6 when he suddenly felt his patrol car hit with “a snowball or ‘ice ball,’” according to a dispatch from the Alaska State Troopers in Seward. He then pulled over to the side of the highway.
“The NOAA Officer saw two teens run into the woods after he pulled over,” the dispatch states.
Troopers in Seward responded and documented the scene. The trooper dispatch describes the damage to the vehicle as “minor” and estimated it to cost approximately $300.
