Rosendo Pallones, 40, of Palmer, has been found not guilty of two counts of sexual assault in the first degree.
After roughly four days of deliberation, the jury entered verdicts of not guilty for two counts, but remained hung on one count of first-degree sexual assault. Superior Court Judge Charles Huguelet declared a mistrial on that count.
Pallones was accused of sexually assaulting his female coworker last July at the Snug Harbor Seafoods cannery in Kenai.
Since a mistrial was declared on one count of first-degree sexual assault, the state will have the opportunity to retry that count.
Huguelet set the trial call and trial date for the first week in September.
In the meantime, Defense Attorney Andy Pevehouse will make a request for bail for Pallones on Monday.
Assistant District Attorney Kelly Lawson declined to comment following the verdict.
