Wishing for Spring

As the Earth tilts towards the sun,
and the ice and snow are finally done.
The birds begin their migration up north,
and massive whales swim towards their course.
Schooling king salmon are heading towards our streams,
fulfilling many of our hopes and dreams.
Soon the flowers will begin to bloom,
as we enjoy the splendid days of June.
If you think the progression of spring is slow,
just remember January’s bitter cold and snow.
In time warm air will be all around,
Enjoy the spring sights and sounds.
