Alaska State Troopers recovered a body near the mouth of the Kenai River on Tuesday afternoon.
Troopers responded to a report that someone had found a body on the north beach of the Kenai River on Monday around 4:17 p.m., according to an online trooper dispatch.
Per procedure, troopers sent the body to the State Medical Examiner’s office for identification. No further information is available at this time, according to the dispatch.
