Icy conditions may have caused at least two vehicle rollover accidents Tuesday on the Sterling Highway.
A sport utility vehicle rollover near Mile 66 has traffic down to one lane. Alaska State Troopers are on-scene directing traffic. Mile 66 is near the Kelly and Petersen lakes turnoff on the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge.
The vehicle is blocking the south-bound lane and a tow truck is enroute.
The one-vehicle accident did not appear to result in any life-threatening injuries and it is unclear how long the road will be partially blocked, said Trooper Spokesperson Beth Ipsen.
She said another rollover accident had occurred at Mile 33.5, near Cooper Landing.
