Alaska State Troopers have located a runaway teen who has been missing from Kenai since early November.
Breana Leah Parmer, 15, was reported missing on Nov. 3, according to a trooper dispatch. She has been located in Soldotna after troopers received information that she was there on Sunday. Troopers contacted Parmer at a residence there and have notified her mother.
Parmer’s missing person status has been removed, according to the dispatch. She had been missing since she did not return home from school on Nov. 2, and troopers had put out alerts on the Kenai Peninsula and statewide.
Alaska State Troopers Public Information Officer Megan Peters and Lt. Dane Gilmore, deputy commander of the E Detachment, said that because the case is not criminal and involves a minor, troopers will not release any further information.
