School meals deadline is noon Friday

Get It and Go Meals are available through the school district.

The Kenai Peninsula Borough School District will be doing Get It and Go Meals this year for 100% remote learners and for students who can’t do on-site learning because their school is closed due to high-risk status.

Tuesday, the district announced central peninsula schools will not be doing on-site learning when the school year begins Monday because the central peninsula is at high-risk status.

The deadline for signing up for Get It and Go Meals for the week of Monday to Aug. 28 is today at noon for both remote learners and students enrolled at schools that are at high-risk status.

There is a signup link at kpbsd.org. Those without internet can call Student Nutrition Services at 907-714-8890.
