Soldotna City Council meeting to discuss annexation

A resolution regarding potential city annexation will be presented at tomorrow’s Soldotna City Council meeting. Residents will be voting whether or not they want the city to draft a petition to the local boundary commission concerning annexation of nine potential study areas. The nine study areas being considered include areas near Funny River Road, Tsalteshi, Skyview, Arc Lake, South of K-Beach, the K-Beach commercial corridor, K-Beach to the north, Knight Drive, Kenai Spur, Sterling Highway and Funny River, according to the city’s website. Potential amendments regarding study areas three, four, five and seven are also included in the resolution. The resolution can be found on the Soldotna city website. The city council meeting is at 6 p.m., tomorrow, Soldotna City Hall, 177 North Birch St.
