A 47-year-old man from Soldotna was found dead in a lake near his home Tuesday.
A dispatch from the Alaska State Troopers says they were notified of a deceased person floating in Browns Lake, located in the Funny River area near Soldotna at around 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
With assistance from Alaska State Park Rangers, the troopers responded to the area and recovered the remains.
The dispatch said the man was identified as Soldotna resident Kenneth Rudolph.
Rudolph was reportedly last seen alive on Sunday evening.
The troopers report no indication of foul play, though Rudolph’s body and the circumstances surrounding his death are being investigated.
