Isaac Davis, 35, of Soldotna pleaded guilty to attempted indecent viewing or production of a picture of minors, a class C felony, on Wednesday, Aug. 14, following a change of plea hearing.
The plea deal describes an eight-year jail sentence, with 5.5 years suspended, followed by five years probation. Davis is also required to get a sexual offender evaluation and register as a sex offender with the state.
A sentencing hearing is currently scheduled for Nov. 4 at the Kenai Courthouse.
Davis was arrested on Oct. 14, 2022, in connection with photographing women and girls at the Skyview Middle School pool in 2021, according to previous reporting by the Peninsula Clarion.
Davis was originally charged with four counts of indecent viewing or production, one count of attempted indecent viewing or production, and one count of tampering with physical evidence related to incidents at multiple facilities around the central Kenai Peninsula.
However, according to an offer from state prosecution filed July 10, five of the six charges were dismissed on the condition that Davis plead guilty to attempted indecent viewing or production of a picture.
