An Anchorage man and his uncle were arrested Monday after troopers tracked a vehicle reported stolen in Anchorage to a Kenai address. After receiving descriptions of the two suspects, Troopers reportedly spotted Dustin K. Tracy, 28, and Donald Ruhl, 42, driving a stolen Toyota Tacoma along Kenai Spur Highway, according to an affidavit filed with the court. Troopers said they followed the two to a home on Empress Avenue, where the men were arrested. Tracy was charged with first-degree vehicle theft, a class C felony; and first-degree criminal trespass, a misdemeanor. Ruhl, who is facing felony vehicle theft charges in a separate case, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
