A Homer woman is being sought by the Alaska State Troopers in connection to a suspected homicide.
Investigators are looking for Sarah Dayan, 35, after investigating a report of a man found dead at a road pullout near Mile 68.5 of the Seward Highway on Tuesday.
Troopers wrote in an online dispatch report that the Soldotna post got a report just after midnight on Tuesday that a man was found dead in the pullout in the area of Turnagain Pass.
“Based on investigation, this death investigation is being treated as a homicide case,” troopers wrote.
Troopers wrote that they believe Dayan is in the Seward area. She should be considered “armed and dangerous,” they wrote in the dispatch report.

The man’s body has been taken to the state medical examiner’s officer for positive identification, according to the dispatch.
A search of court records shows Dayan currently has five criminal cases against her still open, including charges of theft and unauthorized use of an access device in August, and theft and trespassing in September.
