Alaska State Troopers are seeking a Homer man in connection with a Thursday robbery and assault on a beach in Ninilchik.
Clarence Hock, 23, and another Homer man, Sean Carpenter, asked an Anchor Point man for a ride before asking him to stop at the beach, then assaulting and robbing him, according to troopers. The two then fled the scene with two friends who had followed in a separate car, according to the report.
Troopers arrested Carpenter in a Homer home but have been unable to contact Hock.
Carpenter has been charged with felony robbery, assault and theft in varying degrees and faces up to 30 years in prison with a maximum of $350,000 in fines. Hock has been charged with robbery and theft and faces up to 25 years in prison and $300,000 in fines.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Hock and troopers can be reached at 907-235-8239.
Carpenter’s next hearing is June 17 at 3:30 p.m. in the Homer courthouse.
