Two men were found dead in the Kasilof River Sunday afternoon.
The two Kasilof residents — Harold Andrew Crossett, 57, and Reuben Arthur Kimball, 64, — were found 1 mile up from the mouth of the river, according to an Alaska State Trooper dispatch.
The two had gone canoeing on the river, troopers reported. Neither were wearing life preservers and both are believed to have drowned.
The next of kin have been notified. Foul play is not suspected at this time.
