A Kenai woman accused of punching another woman in the face while holding a razor blade between her knuckles has been charged with kidnapping, robbery and assault.
Nicolette J. Relkin, 33, allegedly ambushed the woman in a bedroom and accused her of sleeping with her boyfriend while she was in jail, according to an Alaska State Troopers affidavit filed with the court.
The alleged victim told troopers that Relkin prevented her from leaving the bedroom, punched her “countless times” in the face and got on top of her while punching her, according to the affidavit.
The woman reported that Relkin was holding a razor blade and that the sharp point extended past her knuckles during the attack, according to the affidavit.
Several others in the house did not come to the woman’s aid, she told troopers. Relkin also prevented her from accessing her phone, she said.
Troopers responded to the incident on Monday morning, after receiving a report that a woman was covered in blood and had been cut with a razor blade.
Relkin was charged Monday with first-degree assault, a class C felony; first-degree robbery, a class C felony; and kidnapping, an unclassified felony.
Alaska State Troopers have filed a request for a warrant for Relkin with the Kenai court.
