The host Cook Inlet Academy coed soccer team moved to 7-0 this season with a 3-1 victory over Holy Rosary Academy on Saturday.
Noah Castenholz had two goals for the Eagles in the first 25 minutes of the game. The Knights cut the gap to 2-1 early in the second half, but Castenholz iced the victory by finishing his hat trick in the 64th minute.
CIA coach Kenny Leaf texted that Beka Dillingham handled the lion’s share of goalkeeping duties, with help from center back Britt Hall. Leaf also mentioned that the Eagles only had 10 players for the match, so Abraham Henderson covered a lot of ground at center midfield.
The Eagles host their annual alumni game at 5 p.m. Friday.
