The host Cook Inlet Academy soccer team defeated Our Lady of the Valley 4-0 on Friday in Borealis Conference play to move to 6-0 this season.
After neither side scored in the first half, Noah Castenholz scored for the Eagles just seven minutes into the second half.
The Eagles then solved Our Lady of the Valley’s stingy defense again 25 minutes into the second half, when Valerie Cazares knocked in a rebound. Castenholz then added a pair of late goals to finish with a hat trick.
CIA coach Kenny Leaf texted that Britt Hall anchored the back line, while Jeremy Dillingham and Beka Dillingham shared the shutout in net.
The Eagles host Holy Rosary Academy today at 2 p.m. at CIA.
