The Colony volleyball team completed a successful road trip to the Kenai Peninsula with victories at Nikiski on Friday and at Soldotna on Saturday.
Friday, the Knights got a 25-15, 25-8 and 25-11 victory against the Bulldogs. Nikiski coach Stacey Segura said her squad played well considering this was a speed of volleyball her team hasn’t yet experienced.
Saturday, the Knights topped SoHi 25-15, 25-14 and 25-20 in Northern Lights Conference play. The Stars dropped to 0-2 in the league and 0-2 in nontournament play.
Katelyn Morrison led SoHi with seven kills, Chloe Armstrong had three aces, Ashlee Anderson and Adarra Hagelund had two blocks, Aleena Zener had 13 digs, and Jolie Widaman had 13 assists.
