Kristin Davis and Martin Schuster won the Sadie Knob Trail Run on Saturday. The trail, which is 8.3 miles long and gains and loses 2,600 feet, served as the host of the Kachemak Bay Mountain Classic this year.
Davis picked up the women’s victory in 1:54:01. Also for the women, Erin McKittrick was second at 1:56:00, Anna Williams was third at 2:00:24, Tara Schmidt was fourth at 2:10:27, Sondra Stonecipher was fifth at 2:27:02, Yvonne Leutwyler was sixth at 2:27:25 and Margaret Spencer was seventh at 2:51:25.
Schuster won the men’s race at 1:36:32. Also for the men, Adam Dixon was second at 1:42:20, Trevor Davis was third at 1:56:11, Michael McGuire was fourth at 2:18:29, Derek Bynagle was fifth at 2:18:51, Brian Burns was sixth at 2:30:24 and Jeff Perschbacher was seventh at 3:21:34.
