Eskelin, Pothast take Salmon Cycle Series

Tony Eskelin and Hannah Pothast were the winners of Salmon Cycle Series #8, held Thursday at Tsalteshi Trails.

Eskelin finished the rainy course of about 10 kilometers in 31 minutes, 9 seconds, while Jake Meyer was second at 32:57 and John-Mark Pothast was third at 33:00.

Hannah Pothast crossed the line at 40:42, while Jen Tabor was at 45:02 and Simone Owens was third at 45:26.

The final Salmon Cycle Series race of the year will be Thursday at 6 p.m. at Tsalteshi Trails. Races are $5 each, or free for Tsalteshi Trails Association members. There is no online registration. Just pay before the race.

The cycling season then culminates Saturday with the third annual PsychoCross race, a 14-miler at Tsalteshi. For more information, see tsalteshi.org.
