Evelyn White captures final mountain bike race in Soldotna Cycle Series

Evelyn White won the sixth and final mountain bike race of the summer at the Soldotna Cycle Series on Thursday, Aug. 15.

At the race, riders started at different times based on previous performances and whether they were racing 6 or 12 kilometers.

The different start times were designed to have all of the riders finish at about 60 minutes.

White won at 52 minutes, 26 seconds, while Josiah Rigueiro was second at 57:26 and Jonathan White was third at 57:54.

The Soldotna Cycle Series concluded with The Gauntlet on Saturday, Aug. 17. Results from that event will be published when they are available.
