Friday: Peninsula hockey teams go 0-3 against Valley squads

The Kenai Central Kardinals hockey squad lost 7-1 to Wasilla in a beatdown by the Warriors Friday night in Wasilla.

Kenai has been outscored 11-1 in the two road games this weekend against Valley teams.

Colony 10, Homer 0

The Knights destroyed the Mariners Friday night in Wasilla with a rare double-digit point tally.

Palmer 8, Soldotna 2

The Palmer Moose rebounded after a shutout loss to Homer Thursday night with a big win over the Stars Friday.

Soldotna moves to 5-4 overall in 2014.
