Harness, Peters win Sadie Knob Race

Whitney Harness and Andrew Peters won the Sadie Knob Race on Saturday across Kachemak Bay from Homer.

The race was just short of nine miles long and had about 2,400 feet of elevation gain and loss.

Harness was the top women’s runner at 1 hour, 58 minutes and 20 seconds, while Erin McKittrick was second at 2:09:59.

Peters won at 1:33:16, while Denver Waclawski was next at 1:44:08.
