Dylan Hogue won Sunday Night Heat 3 in the Soldotna Cycle Series on Aug. 3 at Tsalteshi Trails just outside of Soldotna.
The goal in the race was twofold — to finish at or as close to above 30 minutes as possible, and to get as many laps on the 1-mile course as possible.
Hogue got six laps and finished at 30:03. Also with six laps, Morgan Aldridge was at 32:08, Shane Lopez was at 35:10 and Tom Seggerman was at 35:33.
With five laps, Jeff Helminiak was at 30:09 and CO Rudstrom was at 33:50.
The Soldotna Cycle Series continues with a mountain bike race Thursday, Aug. 8, at the Kalifornsky Beach trailhead of Tsalteshi. The race starts at 6:15 p.m., while registration is at 5:45 p.m.
