Homer volleyball tops Sitka

The host Homer volleyball team swept Sitka on Wednesday in nonconference action.

The Mariners won 25-22, 25-22 and 25-15 in their nontournament opener.

Izzy Dye had 16 kills and eight digs for Homer, while Brooke Shafer had four aces, 18 assists and eight digs, and Nevaeh Diaz had five kills.
