Homer wrestling hosts Nikiski, Soldotna for senior night

The Homer wrestling team hosted Nikiski and Soldotna on Tuesday for senior night.

The Stars won both their duals, 111-33 against Homer and 27-12 against Nikiski. Forfeits were accepted in the dual against Homer and not in the Nikiski-Homer dual.

There also were no forfeits accepted in Homer’s 39-18 victory over Nikiski.

Seniors Bryce Glidden and Roane Cook were honored for Homer. At 185 girls, Cook was able to get a pin against Soldotna’s Infinity-Ann Asiata-Higa.

At 165 girls, Glidden pinned Soldotna’s Bella Byrd. At 152 girls, Glidden got another pin against Nikiski’s Jorja Peppinger.
