The visiting Kenai Central volleyball team defeated Homer 25-21, 25-16 and 25-11 on Tuesday in Southcentral Conference action.
The Kardinals are now 6-0 in the league and 9-0 in nontournament play, while the Mariners are 3-2 and 4-2.
Sophie Tapley had 17 kills for the Kardinals, while Stella Selanoff had seven, Avia Miller had six and Ellsi Miller had five. Kate Wisnewski had 42 assists.
Brynnen Hansen led with 18 digs, while Selanoff had 13, Tapley had 11 and Ellsi Miller had nine.
Ellsi Miller had three aces, while Wisnewski and Selanoff each had two. Tapley added five blocks.
Both the Kardinals and the Mariners are at the Lady Grizzly Volleyball Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
