Kenai volleyball sweeps Seward

The Kenai Central volleyball team went on the road to notch a Southcentral Conference victory over Seward.

The 25-14, 26-24 and 25-19 victory sent the Kardinals to 4-0 in the league and 7-0 overall. Seward falls to 2-2 and 5-5.

Sophie Tapley paced the Kardinals with 14 kills, while Avia Miller had nine and Stella Selanoff had three.

Brynnen Hansen had 44 digs, while Selanoff had 33, Tapley had 19 and Kate Wisnewski had 15. Wisnewski had 56 assists, while Hansen had 10. Selanoff led with a pair of blocks.

Both the Kardinals and Seahawks will play in the West Spiketacular, Friday and Saturday, Sept. 27 and 28.
