McDonough, Marden win Sea to Ski Triathlon

Seamus McDonough and Katie Marden won the Sea to Ski Triathlon on Saturday in Homer.

The race starts with a 5-kilometer run from Mariner Park, then does a 7-kilometer bike ride from West Homer Elementary to the Baycrest Ski Trails, then finishes with a 4-kilometer ski.

McDonough finished in 1 hour and 26 seconds to take first in the overall and Ironman categories. Chuck DiMarzio was second at 1:04:13. Marden won the Ironwoman in 1:16:16, edging Katie Miller at 1:16:22.
