The Mt. Edgecumbe boys basketball team will not be able to travel to the Kenai Peninsula this week due to COVID-19 issues, forcing several changes to the area basketball schedule.
The game between the Nikiski boys and Mt. Edgecumbe scheduled for Wednesday has been canceled.
The Nikiski boys will fill in for the Mt. Edgecumbe boys at the Craig Jung Kenai River Challenge at Kenai Central High School.
Thursday, the games are: Seward girls vs. Juneau-Douglas, 3 p.m.; Seward boys vs. Nikiski, 4:30 p.m.; Kenai girls vs. Redington, 6 p.m.; Kenai boys vs. Redington, 7:30 p.m.
Friday, the games are: Redington boys vs. Seward, 3 p.m.; Redington girls vs. Seward, 4:30 p.m.; Kenai boys vs. Nikiski, 6 p.m.; Kenai girls vs. Juneau-Douglas, 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, the games are: Juneau-Douglas girls vs. Redington, 11 a.m.; Nikiski boys vs. Redington, 12:30 p.m.; Kenai girls vs. Seward, 2 p.m.; Kenai boys vs. Seward, 3:30 p.m.
