Ninilchik boys, CIA girls win

The Cook Inlet Academy and Ninilchik basketball teams split a pair of nonconference games Thursday at Cook Inlet Academy.

The Cook Inlet Academy girls notched a 49-22 victory to move to 4-0 overall and drop the Wolverines to 0-2.

For CIA, Tatum Rozak and Hope Hillyer had 19, while Ella Rollman had nine and Rebekah Dillingham had two.

For Ninilchik, Riley Tucker had 14, while Taylor Rickard had five and Lily Berger had three.

The Ninilchik boys won 90-39 to move to 4-0 overall and drop the Eagles to 3-1.

For the Wolverines, Cole Moore had 29, Jaylin Scott had 22, Kade McCorison had 14, Rowan Mahoney had nine, Peyton Edens had five, Cody Blossom had four, and Cooper Adams, Wyatt McCloskey and Michael Nalewako had two.

For the Eagles, Ian McGarry had 16, Owen Braband had six, Abraham Henderson had six, Alek McGarry had four, Brady Baeten had two and Jeremy Dillingham had two.

Clarke Cochrane Christmas Classic

The Nikiski boys lost 81-46 Thursday at the Clark Cochrane Christmas Classic in Ketchikan. The Bulldogs, now 0-6 overall, play for seventh place today at 10:45 a.m.
