In the Aleutian Islands, the war brought thousands of soldiers and enormous quantities of equipment and supplies to a remote area.

Jacoby earns silver in women’s medley relay

Jacoby also took home a gold medal for Team USA in the women’s 100-meter breaststroke at the Tokyo Games on Monday.

Jacoby finished 0.14 seconds under Monday’s gold medal time of 1:04.95.
