Parks, Brown take Salmon Run Series 4

Jason Parks and Avalee Brown were the winners of the five-kilometer race at the fourth Salmon Run Series of the season Wednesday at Tsalteshi Trails just outside of Soldotna.

Parks finished at 17 minutes, 30 seconds, for the victory, while Greg Fallon was at 18:12. Brown was at 22:32 to lead all women, and was fourth overall. Kristin Davis was the second woman at 24:19.

The last race of the series is Wednesday at Tsalteshi Trails, starting at the Skyview Middle School track. The one-kilometer kids race is at 6 p.m., while the five-kilometer race begins at 6:15 p.m.
