Kenai River Brown Bears forward Luke Radetic became the first player from the team to earn a Bauer North American Hockey League Midwest Division Star of the Week this season.
Radetic, a 5-foot-10, 175-pound forward from Chesterfield, Missouri, had four goals as the Bears notched a weekend sweep of the Coulee Region (Wisconsin) Chill. In Friday’s 3-2 victory, Radetic snapped an eight-game goal drought when he scored in the first period.
In Saturday’s 5-4 overtime victory, Radetic recorded a hat trick, including the game-winner in overtime. That was the first hat trick of Radetic’s NAHL career.
