SoHi volleyball sweeps Kodiak

The host Soldotna volleyball team swept Kodiak on Friday and Saturday in Northern Lights Conference action.

Friday, the Stars defeated Kodiak 25-16, 25-12, 21-26 and 25-16 in the opener for both teams in conference play.

Sarah Brown had 23 assists and 15 digs for the Stars, while Sadie Lane had nine kills, 15 digs and five aces.

Also for the Stars, Hallie Fischer had eight kills, two blocks and five aces, and Kiona Dexter had 13 digs and four aces.

Saturday, Soldotna won 25-21, 25-19 and 25-17.

Lane had 11 digs, four aces and six kills, while Brown had 17 assists. Also, Kate Curtis had six kills and Cassidy Kruse had three aces.
