The American Legion Twins defeated East 25-0 in five innings Sunday in Anchorage.
The Twins complete a season-opening road trip with a 4-0 record in the league and 5-1 record overall.
Mathew Daugherty picked up the victory and shutout on the mound, going five innings and walking one while striking out six.
The Twins pounded out 22 hits on the day.
Huge days came from Josh Darrow at 4 for 5 with five runs and two RBIs, Paul Steffensen at 5 for 5 with six runs and six RBIs, Justice Miller at 4 for 5 with two runs and three RBIs, and Mason Prior at 3 for 4 with a run and three RBIs.
Also for the Twins, Kenny Griffin had two runs, Joey Becher had two RBIs, JJ Sonnen had three runs and Tyler Covey had two runs.
The Twins open up their home slate with games at noon and 3 p.m. Thursday at Coral Seymour Memorial Park in Kenai.
